December brings festive cheer and important updates to Lady Lake as the town closes out its Centennial year. The annual Christmas Parade, themed “Santa’s Toy Workshop,” takes place on Dec.r 6 along Old Dixie Highway, featuring colorful floats, holiday characters, and live music, along with several planned road closures to keep the route safe. The Lady Lake Police Department proudly announces its reaccreditation from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, reaffirming its commitment to excellence and professionalism. Holiday celebrations continue throughout the month with visits from Santa at the Library and the Farmers & Crafts Market, which remains open every Tuesday. The Growth Management Department has officially moved into its new, expanded location at the Municipal Annex, offering convenient in-person and online services. Public Works has also improved pedestrian safety by installing new solar-powered LED stop signs near Snooky Park—just in time for the town’s busiest holiday events.
