Location: Town of Lady Lake Police Department
Population: 16,000 (projected 25,000 in the coming years)
Department Size: 30 sworn members, 6 civilian members (projected growth to 45-50 sworn positions)

The Town of Lady Lake, known as the birthplace of The Villages and home to two major retirement communities, is seeking two experienced Patrol Lieutenants to join our accredited police department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide seasoned leadership in handling crises and critical incidents.
  • Offer guidance and support during challenging situations.
  • Collaborate with community members to enhance public safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Current Florida driver’s license (or ability to obtain one upon hire) with an acceptable driving record.
  • Certification from the State of Florida.

  • Drug Screen
  • Psychological
  • Physical Assessment
  • Voice Stress Analyzer Exam

Salary Range: $82,243 - $148,033 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
