Thad has resided in Lake County nearly his entire life. He began as the Senior Planner for the Town in 2007. He was promoted to Growth Management Director in 2010. He is responsible for the oversight of all activities of the Building Services, Code Enforcement, and Planning and Zoning Divisions.
Education
Mr. Carroll received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Central Florida.
Career
Caroll's career has included employment as an educator with the Lake County School System and as a Planner and Geographic Information Systems Analyst with the Lake County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Tavares. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and a graduate of Leadership Lake class of 2018.
