Mike is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He has resided in the Lady Lake area since 2003. He became the Parks and Recreation Director for the Town in 2004. He is responsible for the operation of the Town's park system and serves as the liaison between the Town and many civic organizations, programming events, and overseeing the maintenance for the parks.
Mr. Burske holds a Bachelor's degree in Leisure Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has previously worked for the Carolina Yacht Club, the U.S. Navy Moral, Welfare and Recreation Program and the City of Fruitland Park.
