The Town of Lady Lake will celebrate Easter with a day of family-friendly activities and competitive fun for adults on Saturday, March 28, at Snooky Park.
The day begins at 9 a.m. with the Town’s popular Adult Easter Scavenger Hunt, “An Eggstraordinary Adventure,” followed by the annual Easter Eggstravaganza at 11 a.m. for children, presented by the Town of Lady Lake and sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lady Lake.
Both events will take place at Snooky Park, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy a day of community celebration in the heart of Lady Lake.
The Adult Easter Scavenger Hunt will kick off at 9 a.m. at Snooky Park, 120 W. Lady Lake Blvd. Teams of two will follow clues to multiple locations throughout town, collecting eggs and competing for more than 20 prizes, including a 75-inch smart TV, Meta sunglasses, a smart home system and a $250 Visa gift card.
Each participating business along the route will hide two golden eggs this year, doubling participants’ chances to win top-tier prizes. Teams that find a golden egg will receive a top prize. All remaining participants will be entered into a drawing during the prize ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Teams must return to Snooky Park by 12:15 p.m. to qualify.
Tickets for the scavenger hunt are $20 per team of two. Participants must be at least 18 years old and present a valid driver’s license. The deadline to purchase tickets is March 20 at Lady Lake Town Hall or the Lady Lake Library.
On the same day, families are invited to the annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Thousands of eggs will be hidden for children to find during the event. Activities will include bounce houses, food vendors and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Food will be available for purchase from Lil Fatz BBQ, Weirsdale Weiney, Simple Eats & Treats and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
