About the Police Department

The Lady Lake Police Department is a fully accredited professional law enforcement agency through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. We strive to provide the best possible service to our residents and to those who work, travel, and visit here.

The Police Department is responsible for providing all law enforcement services within the capacity of the department’s resources and traffic enforcement within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Lady Lake. The primary goal of the Police Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of criminal perpetrators.

The Lady Lake Police Department is centrally located at 423 Fennell Blvd., between the historical section of Lady Lake and The Villages. Our department has 32 full-time sworn officer positions, 5 police reserve officers, and 7 civilian non-sworn staff members, to include a Community Service Aide who handles traffic crashes and non-emergency calls, two Records Custodians, an Evidence Technician, and two members of the Administrative Staff in the Office of the Chief of Police.

The Office of the Chief of Police is responsible for the effective delivery of police services to the community and maintains operational oversight of the bureaus dedicated to that mission. The Department is divided into two bureaus, Operations and Administrative Services.
