Administration Bureau
Responsibilities
The Administrative Services Bureau is responsible for Accreditation, Fingerprinting, Property and Evidence, Records, Public Records Requests, and Training. The Records Department files, stores, and retrieves records and reports taken by Town police officers.
The Administrative Services Bureau is commanded by a Lieutenant who is also responsible for Recruitment, Training, the Armory, and serves as the Emergency Operations Center liaison.

Accreditation
The Lady Lake Police Department received initial accreditation from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation in October 2016 and obtained reaccreditation in October 2019 and December 2022.

Crash Reports
Traffic crash reports are confidential for 60 days after the report is filed. Only parties involved in the crash, including vehicle owners, their legal representatives, their insurance company, and its agents may receive crash report copies during this period.

Firearm & Ammunition Disposal
Individuals may voluntarily surrender unwanted guns and ammunition during lobby hours.

Fingerprinting
LiveScan fingerprinting service is available on Wednesday each week between 10 am and 3 pm.

Incident Reports
Copies of police incident reports are available to the public. Staff may redact portions of the report to protect victims of certain crimes, juveniles, or ongoing criminal investigations.

Patch Requests
We will reply to patch requests from law enforcement agencies.

Property & Evidence
It is our strict policy to maintain evidence and seized or recovered property in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and court decisions relating to evidence and seized or recovered property, and to return such property to its rightful owner(s) in a timely manner.

Safe Exchange Location
The Police Department lobby and parking lot are available to the general public to conduct physical transactions arranged through online marketplaces.

Sex Offender Registry Search
Search the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) sex offender registry database.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Verification
VIN verification is required for all used motor vehicles not currently titled in Florida, including trailers with a weight of 2,000 pounds or more.

Wellness Checks
The Lady Lake Police Department will conduct wellness checks for residents when requested.
