A permit is required for any new construction, modification or addition to the exterior of an existing structure.
Submittal Requirements
- A site plan or survey showing all impervious surfaces with dimensions is required. This includes, but is not limited to, any existing buildings, driveways, sidewalks, and concrete. It must also show the proposed location of the addition or aluminum project, showing the distances to each property line.
- Detailed construction plans signed and sealed by an engineer or architect using the most current building codes. All documents shall be properly signed, dated and sealed for the required method of submittal.
- Energy calculation, if applicable.
- Truss layouts, if applicable.
- Product approval
- A recorded Notice of Commencement will be required prior to the first inspection for any projects with a job value over $5,000.
- Any residential project located within a rental park will need written park permission for the permit to be released.
