The modification of an existing system or duct work or the installation of an additional mechanical unit will require a permit.
Submittal Requirements
Size for Size Change Out
- AHRI for the new unit.
- If changing out multiple units, please note number of units on application.
- A recorded Notice of Commencement will be required prior to the first inspection for any projects with a job value over $15,000.
- Any properties located in a rental park will need written park permission for the permit to be released.
Dehumidification Unit
- Specifications on unit.
- Signed letter from property owner acknowledging the system will only be used for dehumidification purposes only - not for air conditioning.
- A recorded Notice of Commencement will be required prior to the first inspection for any projects with a job value over $5,000.
- Any properties located in a rental park will need written park permission for the permit to be released.
Duct Replacement
- Duct layout showing complete system, indicating the supply and return, size and all components used.
- A recorded Notice of Commencement will be required prior to the first inspection for any projects with a job value over $5,000.
